Divided between the garden (10 rooms), courtyard (1 room and 1 suite), and the main hotel (7 rooms), all the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and all have been completely refurbished over the last one to four years.

All the rooms are airy and bright, free of fuss and flounce. All have Tivoli radios and new televisions with built-in DVD – our DVD library is extensive and good. We have just had the digital switchover so there are more channels available than before but please be aware we do not subscribe to Sky.

Paints are from Little Greene Paint Company, The Paint Library: furniture is from B&B Italia, Graham and Green, Heals, Habitat and the Conran Shop: fabrics are by Osborne and Little: beds are from Hypnos and Vi-spring: bathroom fittings are Dornbracht, Starck, Roca, Ideal Standard and Laufen. Soft furnishings, e.g. curtains, valances, cushions and headboards are made by the Curtain Girls in Bury St Edmunds. Our towelling, pillows and duvet covers come from Richard Haworth and the sheets from Peter Reed.
