Please note discounted rates, offers or packages may not be used in conjunction with any other discounted rates, offers and packages.

We require a valid credit card to secure bookings and reserve the right to charge the card for cancellations falling outside the permitted time scales, as detailed below. By entering into this contract you are authorising us to make the above charges to the card without any additional consent being required.

1 Cancellation: your reservation is made with David & Ruth Watson trading as the The Crown and Castle (the 'hotel'), and represents a legally binding contract between you and the hotel.

2 We always endeavour to re-sell cancelled rooms and, if successful, will reimburse you pro rata (truly, see below). For bookings of 3 days or more, we strongly advise that holiday insurance is taken out.

3 Bookings of one room for stays of one or two days require 7 days notice of cancellation or part cancellation, otherwise the cost of one or two nights will be charged using the relevant B&B rate on our published tariff for Sun-Thu stays. For weekend (Fri-Sat) stays the rate charged will be £250 for Good House Double; £295 for Better House Double; £320 for Best Garden or Courtyard Double; £340 for Best House Double; and £455 for the suite.
For stays of 3 nights or longer, 7 days notice of cancellation or part cancellation is required or the cost of the first three nights' stay will be charged using the B&B rate on our published tariff for midweek (Sun-Thu) stays or for mixed midweek and weekend stays, the B&B rate and relevant weekend rate as quoted above. 

3a  Bookings of two rooms or more for stays of one or two days require 14 days notice of cancellation or part cancellation, otherwise the full cost of each room cancelled will be charged, using the B&B rate on our published tariff. For weekend (Fri-Sat) stays the rate  charged per room cancelled will be £250 for Good House Double; £295 for Better House Double; £320 for Best Garden or Courtyard Double; £340 for Best House Double; and £455 for the suite.

4 Please note that discounted package rates as well as high day and holiday package rates (e.g. Christmas) are non-refundable unless they can be re-sold in full.
